On a shared safari you sit in a car with people you have just met. Here the Land Cruiser, the driver and a table at the camp are set aside for your group alone. One price of AED 1,400 per car covers up to six people, from the moment you are collected until you are dropped back home in the late evening.
Because nobody else is in the vehicle, your driver can tune the dune bashing to your group: a little wilder if your group asks for it, smoother if someone would rather take it easy. At the camp you are welcomed to your own table with Arabic tea and coffee, sweets and fresh fruit, and your party takes its turn on the camels, has henna painted and watches the sunset together. The BBQ buffet is the same menu served on the shared trip, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices.
Split six ways, the price comes to about AED 233 each, which is less than the shared quad package. With four people it is AED 350 each, and with two it is AED 700 each. Families travelling together, couples marking a special date and small teams from work tend to choose this private desert safari Dubai option. The evening itself is the same: dune bashing, a camel ride, henna, sunset, the buffet dinner and the three shows. Pickup and drop-off are just for your group too.
Each car takes up to six people, and the AED 1,400 price stays the same whether two or six of you travel. If your group is bigger than six, you will need a second private car, which we quote separately. Tell us your exact group size when you book so we can plan the right number of cars.
Only for the shows. Your party has a table reserved just for you, where the welcome drinks and the BBQ dinner are served, and your service is separate. The belly dance, fire show and Tanura take place in the shared camp area, so everyone watches them together.
In the cooler months (October to March), the car comes for you at 2:45-3:30 PM; in the warmer months (April to September) at 3:45-4:30 PM. You are home at about 9:30-9:45 PM. Because the car is yours, the exact time can sometimes flex around your plans. We confirm it on WhatsApp the afternoon before.
Yes. Private groups eat from the same international BBQ buffet as shared guests, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, but you are served at your own reserved table. Soft drinks, tea, coffee and water come at no extra cost all night, and alcohol or sheesha can be bought at the camp if you want them.
