Overview
The Grizzly is the quad for riders who already know what a throttle feels like. It is the biggest and strongest machine in our quad line-up, and you feel that extra power on every climb. A Yamaha Grizzly quad bike Dubai session uses the same open desert as the Single Seater, so the extra money buys you more muscle under the seat rather than different scenery.
No licence is needed, but a little comfort on a quad goes a long way here. If this would be your first time on one, we usually point you to the Single Seater or the fenced COBRA first. Guests who ride quads or motorbikes at home, or who have done a desert session before, tend to get the most from the Grizzly.
Each Yamaha Grizzly quad bike Dubai ride costs AED 350 per rider for 30 minutes. For that you get the guide, the fuel, a helmet with goggles and gloves, a thorough briefing and mineral water on tap. Good to know
- Open-desert quads are for adult riders.
- The Grizzly is automatic, with no clutch, but its power rewards some prior experience.
- Licences are not required on this private stretch of desert.
- Sunset slots are the first to fill, so book early if you want the evening light on the dunes.
- The Grizzly is unsuitable during pregnancy, after recent surgery or for riders with neck or back trouble.
- A ride we cancel for a sandstorm or rain can move to another day at no charge, or be refunded in line with our cancellation policy.

What does the Grizzly add over the Single Seater?
More machine. No quad we run is bigger or stronger, so the Grizzly has the most pull on the climbs. Everything else is the same as the Single Seater: open desert, a guide leading the convoy, a helmet, goggles and gloves, fuel, the briefing and unlimited mineral water.
Should a first-time rider choose the Grizzly?
We usually suggest starting smaller. Extra power is hard to enjoy before you know how a quad reacts on sand, so first-timers tend to have a better ride on the Single Seater or the fenced COBRA. If you have ridden a quad or motorbike before and feel comfortable, the Grizzly is the one to book.
What engine size is the Yamaha Grizzly?
We do not publish an engine figure for the Grizzly. What we can tell you is that it tops our quad range for both size and power, clearly a step up from the Single Seater and the COBRA. If the exact specification matters to you, send us a message on WhatsApp before you book and ask.
Can people in my group ride different quads?
Yes. Each rider books the quad that suits them, so one person can take the Grizzly while others ride the Single Seater, and children aged 5 to 11 use the COBRA in the fenced area. Tell us the mix on WhatsApp when you book.
Will someone collect me from my hotel?
Only if you add a transfer, which costs extra. Pickup is not part of the AED 350 price. Most Grizzly riders drive themselves or hail a taxi, navigating with the pin we send, and parking is available. Ask for a transfer quote while booking if you need one.
