Polaris RZR Dubai drive in the 2 seater 1000cc

Our Polaris RZR Dubai session gives two people one buggy for a single price: AED 600 buys half an hour of driving over the Al Badayer dunes. One of you drives with no licence needed, the other rides shotgun, and an instructor leads from the front the whole time.

  • 30 / 60 / 120 min

Overview

The Polaris RZR Dubai drive is where most first-timers begin. The 2 Seater Polaris RZR 1000cc pairs a 1000cc engine of roughly 110 horsepower with an automatic gearbox, so it climbs with real pull while you only think about steering, accelerator and brake. Both seats sit inside a roll cage, and four-point harnesses hold you in place in the open cabin.

AED 600 pays for the whole machine rather than one seat, so two riders share one price. It already includes the instructor, a helmet and goggles for each of you, fuel, the briefing and bottled water with no limit, so you will not meet a surprise kit charge on arrival.

Your instructor drives a few lengths ahead the entire time, reading the sand and choosing a line that suits your confidence. You stay in charge of how hard you push; the guide handles navigation and sets a sensible pace for anyone new to dunes.

Only one of you can drive on a 30 minute booking. If you both want a turn, a 60 or 120 minute session leaves room to swap seats along the way; message us for those prices. For more buggies and the full comparison, see our dune buggy Dubai page.

What happens on the day

  1. 10–15 min

    Check-in and briefing

Show your booking confirmation, sign the short liability form and meet your instructor, who explains the RZR's pedals, how the harness fastens, the hand signals used on the sand and where you sit in the convoy.

  2. Kit on, belts tight

The crew sizes a helmet and goggles for each of you and checks both harnesses before you start the engine and settle into the two-seat cabin.

  3. 30 min

    Guided drive on the dunes

Follow the lead buggy across the red sand at Al Badayer: rolling climbs, short descents and open flats where you can let the RZR stretch its legs, always at a pace the guide judges right for you.

  4. Photos, then hand-back

Stop on a ridge for pictures beside a sand-coated buggy, return your kit and take a bottle of water for the trip back to the city.

Good to know

  • The driver must be an adult. A child can take the passenger seat, but tell us their age on WhatsApp first so we can confirm it.
  • We send the meeting-point pin for your Polaris RZR Dubai session with your written confirmation; the drive from Downtown takes around 45 to 60 minutes.
  • This is a bumpy ride, so it is not suitable during pregnancy, after recent surgery or with back or neck trouble.
  • In July and August, choose an early slot between 5 and 8 AM to stay ahead of the heat.
  • If bad weather forces us to cancel, you can take a new date at no cost or claim a refund as our cancellation policy allows.
  • Helmets, goggles and bottled water laid out for riders before a dune buggy session
  • A guide's buggy leading two-seat buggies in a line across the Al Badayer sand

Questions, answered

2 Seater Polaris RZR 1000cc: questions

What does AED 600 pay for on the 2 seater RZR?

AED 600 pays for the entire buggy for a 30 minute session with two people on board. It covers a trained instructor leading the route, helmets and goggles for you both, fuel, the briefing and as much water as you like. Transfers from your hotel and any photo or video package are charged separately, and tipping your guide is up to you.

Can a complete beginner drive the Polaris RZR?

Yes. Plenty of people who book a Polaris RZR Dubai ride have never driven on sand. With an automatic gearbox you just steer, accelerate and brake, while the instructor out front picks a pace that suits the least confident driver. No licence is required. Whoever takes the wheel has to be an adult, so bring their photo ID along to check-in.

Do we both get to drive?

On a 30 minute booking one of you drives and the other rides. If you both want the wheel, pick a 60 or 120 minute session and change seats partway through. Those longer rates are not listed online, so send us a WhatsApp with your preferred day and we will quote them.

How is this different from the Can-Am X3?

The RZR has less power than the X3, which makes it the usual pick for a first drive. The Can-Am Maverick X3 adds a turbocharged engine and a wider stance for sharper acceleration, and it costs AED 999 instead of AED 600. Both seat two people and come with the same guide, gear and water.

Can I bring a child as my passenger?

Usually, yes. Children can ride in the passenger seat while an adult drives. Passenger rules vary by buggy and seat, so tell us the child's age on WhatsApp before you book and we will confirm it. For families of three or four, the four-seat RZR is often the easier choice.

Is hotel pickup available for this buggy?

Yes, for an extra charge. The AED 600 price does not include transport, though a transfer can be booked from Deira, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, JBR or Downtown. Mention it on WhatsApp while booking for a price. Many riders simply drive out using the pin in their confirmation.
