The Standard Package is the simplest balloon ride Dubai option we offer: free pickup before dawn, 45 to 60 minutes in the air as the sun rises over the desert, drinks before and after, and a printed certificate. There is no camp stop, so you are back at your accommodation by 9:00 AM.

Overview
This package is built for travellers who want the flight and nothing extra. For AED 1,049 per person you are collected from wherever you are staying in Dubai, be it a hotel, a home or an apartment, driven to the launch site in the dark, and flown over the dunes for 45 to 60 minutes while the sky turns from black to gold. After landing, the crew hands you a printed certificate and drives you straight home.
The early finish is a big part of its appeal. With drop-off between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, you still have a full day for the city, a beach club or an afternoon nap. Couples, solo travellers and first-time flyers tend to like that balance: the most memorable hour of the trip, without giving up the whole morning.
If you would like more time in the desert after you land, two other packages use exactly the same flight. The Deluxe package adds breakfast at a desert camp, camels and a falcon show, and Premium continues with a morning safari and a quad ride. You can compare all three on our hot air balloon page.
Weather decides every balloon ride Dubai morning, so treat your date as slightly flexible. If the crew cannot launch safely, we offer a fresh date for nothing extra, or a refund as set out in our cancellation policy.

A driver comes to your door, whether that is a hotel, a private home or a rented flat. We confirm the exact minute on WhatsApp the day before, since it depends on your address.

You arrive while it is still dark, a little before the horizon starts to brighten, and warm up with coffee, tea or water.

Inflation and safety briefing
Watch the crew bring the balloon to life, then listen to a short safety briefing from the flight crew before boarding.

Good to know
- The pre-dawn schedule stays the same all season; we message your pickup time on WhatsApp the day before you fly.
- Balloons stay grounded through June, July and August and come back on 1 September, so plan a summer visit around other desert rides.
- Nobody under 7 can fly, and the flight is not open to anyone who is pregnant.
- The basket has separate compartments, and people booked together stay in the same one.

Hot Air Balloon Standard Package: questions
What does the AED 1,049 Standard flight cover?
It covers a free return transfer within Dubai, 45 to 60 minutes aloft over the desert at sunrise, coffee, tea and water as often as you like, and a printed flight certificate. It does not include the camp breakfast, camel ride or falconry from Deluxe, the safari and quad from Premium, or optional photo and video add-ons.
Why is Standard cheaper than the other balloon packages?
The flight itself is identical across all three packages. Standard costs less because it skips the ground programme: no camp breakfast, no camel ride, no falconry and no safari. You land, collect your certificate and go home. If you want a balloon ride Dubai morning with the flight as the only highlight, it is the best value of the three.
When will I be back at my hotel after the Standard flight?
Expect to be home from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. We collect you in the 3:45 to 4:30 AM window, and the whole morning takes about four to five hours door to door. That leaves the rest of your day open, which suits guests with a busy itinerary, an afternoon flight or other plans in the city.
Does free pickup work for apartments as well as hotels?
Yes. The free pickup covers any hotel, private home or apartment across Dubai, and drop-off returns you to the same address. Share your location when you book, and we will send your exact pickup time on WhatsApp the day before. If your address changes, let us know on WhatsApp as early as you can.
Do I get proof that I flew?
Yes. Every passenger receives a printed flight certificate as soon as the balloon is back on the ground, at no extra cost. Photos from the basket are up to you, so bring a phone or camera you can hold securely. Professional photography or video can be arranged on request and is not part of the price.
